Privacy Policy

Last updated: 7 June 2026

GigaGrammatik is a free German grammar practice site. This policy explains what data we collect and why.

Practice without an account

You can use the exercises without signing in. We do not save your learning progress unless you create an account.

Accounts and your email

We use Supabase Auth to handle your account and email address in a secure, professional way. When you sign in, we only ask for your email address and send you a magic link — no password is stored on our site.

Your email is used only for your account and to save your learning progress. We never sell or share it with third parties. In the future, we may email you about product updates; you will always be able to unsubscribe from those messages.

Your email address and account authentication are processed by Supabase. Their privacy policy applies to that part of our service.

Sign-in emails (magic links) are delivered through Resend. Resend receives your email address only to send these transactional messages on our behalf. See Resend's privacy policy.

Learning progress

If you are logged in, we store your exercise progress (for example, which words you have practiced and your current streak). This data is linked to your account and is not shared with third parties.

Website analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand how the site is used (for example, which pages are visited). This is anonymized and does not use cookies. See Vercel's privacy policy.

Cookies

Supabase Auth uses session cookies so you can stay signed in. These are necessary for the account feature.

Your rights

You can sign out at any time. You can delete your account and all associated progress data yourself on your account page. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
